About the Studio Mini Portraits

Studio Mini Portraits are digitally drawn portraits created on my iPad in a pen-and-ink style with layered, messy watercolour textures. These portraits are not photographic reproductions. Instead, they are intuitive interpretations that focus on mood, presence, and character. Each portrait is drawn individually and reflects my signature approach to stylised portraiture. Some works may feel minimal, others more detailed, but all are created with the same attention and intent.

To maintain quality and focus, I accept only a small number of Studio Mini Portrait commissions each month.

Commission Details

Format: A4 size

Medium: Digital pen and ink with watercolour textures

Delivery: One finished portrait provided as either a high-resolution digital file suitable for printing or an A4 archival art print, shipped unframed. The choice is yours.

 

Price:

• Single subject: ₹6,000
• Couple (two subjects): ₹7,000
• Additional people or pets: ₹1,500 per subject

 

Availability: 4 commissions per month only

What is a stylised portrait?

A stylised portrait is not meant to be an exact copy of a photograph. It uses simplification, emphasis, and artistic interpretation to capture the essence and personality of the subject. While the resemblance is clear, the final artwork will not look like a photograph.

What's required?

To create your portrait, I will need:
• Clear, well-lit photographs of the subject. 
• A front-facing closeup is a must. 
• A few details, such as colour preferences or traits you would like reflected

Please avoid sending screenshots or heavily filtered images.

Can I request specific colours or a background?

Yes. You are welcome to share colour preferences. These will be interpreted within my style.

How long does it take?

Timelines depend on when your commission is scheduled.
Digital files are delivered within 5 working days from the start date.
Printed portraits are shipped within 7 to 10 working days from the start date.

Your start date will be confirmed via WhatsApp once your commission is accepted.

Can I see a preview or request revisions?

No previews or revisions are offered for Studio Mini Portraits. Each piece is created as a one-of-a-kind artwork in my signature style. If you resonate with the work shown on this website, you will likely enjoy the portrait created for you.

Do you ship printed portraits outside India?

Printed portraits are shipped within India only. International clients are welcome to commission the digital file option.

 

Can I gift a Studio Mini Portrait?

Yes. Studio Mini Portraits are often commissioned as personal, meaningful gifts. Prints are wrapped in glassine, sandwiched between protective boards, sealed in waterproof packaging, and shipped securely.

Stylised portraits are not intended to be exact replicas of photographs. I DON'T DO REALISTIC PORTRAITURES. Certain features may be emphasised, softened, or adjusted for artistic balance. By commissioning this work, you acknowledge and agree to this approach. Reworking a completed portrait is not possible.

Images or short process videos of commissioned portraits may be shared on my website or social media unless you request otherwise.
