This hand-painted wooden wall plate was a custom commission for a client looking to add warmth to a cosy corner in her home in Coonoor. Her brief was simple yet meaningful— "it should be red in colour and should have the words 'Grateful, Thankful & Blessed"  bringing vibrancy and serenity to her space.
I chose a deep tomato red background, symbolizing warmth and comfort, and adorned it with delicate cherry blossoms. These flowers represent renewal, beauty, and the fleeting yet precious nature of life —a perfect reflection of the ever-changing seasons in Coonoor.
