Once a spa town, its hot springs were the stuff of legend—until a cyclone in 1948 buried the source, leaving behind history, charm, and a postcard-perfect village.
The Creole homes here are straight out of another era—wooden shutters, vibrant gardens, colonial architecture. And then, there are the gazebos. In the old days, these were the heart of courtship—a place where young women met suitors over tea, chaperoned by propriety. Many still stand today, beautifully untouched—just like Hell-Bourg itself.
