Created using scores of repetitive hand-drawn lines and layered organic patterns, this painting explores the relationship between stillness and chaos, restraint and abundance. The monochromatic elephant stands calm and grounded amidst an explosion of vibrant colours, flowing forms and rhythmic marks.
The work draws from my deep love for bold colour palettes, meditative repetition and intricate pattern-making. Every line in this piece was drawn slowly and intentionally, allowing the painting to unfold almost like a visual meditation.
